Steven Thorne comes from a family of people who have made great advances in the science field andhave been known to be the type of people who ‘Think Outside of the Box’. His father and older brothers plus several cousins have their PhD’s and some Post Doctorate degrees in the field of science. Some have had one or more of their inventions and instruments sent into space and even to Mars. One of his cousins, Kip S. Thorne received the Nobel Prize in 2018 for his contribution to the field of physics.

The story so far
Arctoro Medical was formed in 2019, but the story begins well before that. For many years, the idea of a device to help doctors accurately diagnose pain for patients with real need had been formulating in Steve’s mind. Early on, he joined up with William to develop the idea and prove the concept. Later Ryan joined to help evolve the concept into a refined, production-ready form. After years of development, several prototypes, and preliminary testing, the Electronic Nerve Stimulator was born.
